Because 'The Masked Singer's' Group B began the competition with one extra contestant, that meant fans experienced a bloodbath on Wednesday night as two of the four celebs were eliminated: Crocodile, Seahorse, Serpent or Whatchamacallit. The other two would go on to join Popcorn and Sun from Group A in the Super Six, along with two more next week from Group C. So how did the Group B finals play out, and did you correctly guess the identities of the two eliminated singers? Guest judge Cheryl Hines joined Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger on the panel this week.

8:00 p.m. — 'Previously on ‘The Masked Singer'!' In the seventh episode, only Nicole correctly guessed singing couple Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black were actually the Snow Owls. 'You guys are no Simon Cowell,' Clint joked with the panel after Nick Cannon removed their masks. The other Group A celebs, Popcorn and Sun, both advanced to the Super Six, so now it's time to see who from Group B will soon be joining them. Let's go!

8:10 p.m. – The first performer in the Group B finals is the Seahorse. She's loved baring her soul on the stage, but nobody knows her soul better than her spiritual advisor. He says Seahorse is the real deal (speaking from a pulpit) and we find out Seahorse plays guitar and we see images of a bonfire. We also see two baby dolls and some from fried chicken from Nashville. Tonight Seahorse is singing '…Baby One More Time' by Britney Spears. She sounds completely different than she did singing Celine Dion, perhaps her costume should have been a chameleon! The Seahorse continues to prove she can SANG though. Nicole called it a 'spot on' Britney impression, but with some stratospheric vocals thrown in. For a final clue, we learn Seahorse was never in a girl group. The panelists think Seahorse could be Kesha, Kellie Pickler or Sia.

8:20 p.m. – Crocodile is up next and admits this competition means everything to him. He always tries to be one of the hardest workers in the room and we hear from his friend (who appears to be a disc jockey) that he has been all around the world with the Croc. Once they traveled to six continents in 100 hours. Despite his hard exterior, he's a total softy. He loves video games and the song 'Step By Step' is mentioned. Tonight Crocodile is singing 'Bleeding Love' by Leona Lewis. Nicole looks like she's about to have one of her sobfests because Crocodile is killing this vocal. Robin says Crocodile just punched his ticket because that was his best vocal. His final clue is that Crocodile is in a huge cult classic movie. The panel thinks Crocodile could be Jared Leto, Jordan Knight or Justin Guarini.

8:30 p.m. – The next singer on deck is Whatchamacallit. This tall talent is hoping his swag can carry him through because he's not the best singer. His high school teacher/mentor gives us some insight on Whatchamacallit and we see a pot of coffee, a gym whistle and a crown. Perhaps he's a prom king? There are also some ping pong paddles and a Queen's guard. Tonight Whatchamacallit is rapping 'Lean Back' by Terror Squad featuring Fat Joe and Remy Ma. Okay, Whatchamacallit has some swag and he can flow. I'll admit that, but he's not as entertaining as Seahorse or Crocodile. Whatchamacallit's final clue is that he's already won a championship. The panel thinks Whatchamacallit could be Lonzo Ball, Carmelo Anthony or J.B. Smoove.

8:40 p.m. – Closing out the show is the Serpent. He says he's not ready to go back to the real world, but his old college roommate lets us in on some more information. When they met, they were both dirt poor. I can see a foam finger, pizza box and some sports trophies. We also see some mayo and peanut butter, an ambulance and the roommate says fame 'found him.' Tonight the Serpent is singing 'Cool' by Jonas Brothers. He's got a smooth, slightly raspy soul vibe. He has a good voice, but I'm not sure this performance will hold up at this stage of the competition. We've heard his voice soar before, but he's a little reserved tonight. Robin calls it a Super Six performance and Cheryl thinks the Serpent is sexy. For the Serpent's final clue, it is revealed he has sung with one of the panelists before. The panel thinks Serpent could be Jamie Foxx, Donald Faison or viral sensation Dr. Elvis Francois.

8:43 p.m. – The votes are in and the winner of the Group B finals is the Seahorse! She heads straight to the Super Six, but who will join her?

8:50 p.m. – The first singer to be unmasked tonight will be Whatchamacallit. Before that, we learn what the panel's first/final guesses are. Ken initially thought Whatchamacallit was Damian Lillard but switched to Lonzo Ball. Robin thought it was Tyler the Creator but has now landed on Michael Strahan. Jenny's first guess was Winston Duke, but now she thinks Whatchamacallit is Devin Booker. Nicole first guessed Uncle It because she had no idea, but now she thinks its Carmelo Anthony. Cheryl sticks with J.B. Smoove. At last, Whatchamacallit pulls of his mask and reveals himself to be Lonzo Ball! It's a miracle, Ken was right!

8:59 p.m. – The Crocodile and the Serpent remain. One will be heading to the Super Six while the other unmasks. Dang, these two are both good! The second singer headed to the Super Six is the Crocodile, which means the Serpent will be unmasked. Ouch! But first, the panelists must reveal their first impression and final guesses. Ken's first impression was Usher but he's switching to Daveed Diggs. Nicole thought it was Hamilton's Okieriete Onaodowan, but now thinks it's singing surgeon Dr. Elvis Francois. Jenny's initial guess was John Legend, but now says Taye Diggs. Robin thought it was Wanya Morris, but he agrees with Cheryl now that it's Donald Faison. The Serpent pulls off his mask and Nicole was right, it's Dr. Elvis Francois! That's a wrap for tonight.

The second season of the UK edition of The Masked Singer is in full swing. The reality series has become a massive hit in both the United Kingdom and the United States over the past couple of years, and its popularity is showing no signs of slowing down.

Nicola Roberts took the season one crown after her stellar string of performances as Queen Bee, ultimately beating out Jason Manford's Hedgehog and Katherine Jenkins' Octopus. The second season, which started back on Boxing Day, has already seen no shortage of twists and turns.

Here is a quick recap of the second season of the UK version of The Masked Singer, with a look at how things may play out in the season finale on February 13.

Alien (Sophie Ellis-Bextor)

Sophie Ellis-Bextor was the first contestant to be eliminated from the second season back in the very first episode. The noted lead singer of Theaudience was ousted after her rendition of 'Don't Start Now' by Dua Lipa failed to capture the imagination of the trio of panelists.

The Alien was eliminated after being outperformed by Robin. Of course, there's no shame in that considering we still don't know the identity of Robin. Oddsmakers believe Robin is actually Aston Merrygold, but time will tell.

Frankly, it's probably for the best that the Alien was cut right away. That costume is rather terrifying.

Seahorse (Mel B)

The Seahorse didn't make her debut until the second episode of the season. He was tasked with regaling the panelists with her version of 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' by Kylie Minogue. It's hard to imagine anyone performing the song better than Kylie herself, so the Seahorse was facing an uphill climb from the jump:

We later found out that Mel B, also known as Scary Spice. It's a bit surprising that the 45-year-old didn't make a deeper run into the season given the massive popularity of the Spice Girls in the UK, but she was ultimately unable to get past the Viking. The Viking prevailed in their duel after nailing Fleetwood Mac's 'Songbird.'

Swan (Martine McCutcheon)

The Swan was another debutante in the first episode. She put forth a fairly underwhelming version of Shania Twain's 'That Don't Impress Me Much.' She wasn't bad enough to get ousted right away, but she did exit the first performance at risk.

The Swan costume was impressive, but her lack of any dance moves whatsoever may have ultimately cost her. The Swan was later revealed to be Martine McCutcheon. Despite her own history with a pair of chart-toppers in the UK, McCutcheon was eliminated in the third episode. Online betting sites had her pegged as the Swan from her first song.

Grandfather Clock (Glenn Hoddle)

We didn't get a glimpse of the Grandfather Clock until the end of the second episode. It didn't take them very long to run out of costume options, apparently. Grandfather Clock? Really?

As you may expect, the Grandfather Clock first sang a song about…clocks. The Clock offered up his rendition of Bill Haley and His Comets' oldie hit 'Rock Around the Clock.' Prepare to feast your eyes on a Pringles can disguised as a clock:

This is truly nightmare material. We found out following his elimination that he was actually former Spurs and Chelsea midfielder Glenn Hoddle. Hoddle admittedly has pretty good pipes for a former soccer player, but he came out of his first showdown with Bush Baby at risk. Grandfather Clock was eventually eliminated by the Viking in a sing-off in episode four.

Speaking of Bush Baby…

Bush Baby (John Thomson)

There are plenty of real animals out there from which to choose, but those behind The Masked Singer evidently decided to put a glorified Furby into the mix in the second season. Bush Baby, who was later revealed to be John Thomson, was the first contestant of the season to be eliminated despite having actually won a round earlier on.

The Masked Singer Blog

Bush Baby's performance of Tom Jones' 'Delilah' was good enough to get him past the Grandfather Clock, but his run came to an end in the fifth episode of the season. Thomson bellowed his way through 'Release Me' by Engelbert Humperdinck: Online casino roulette cheats.

Viking (Morten Harket)

Rather than give the Viking an intimidating presence, the costume designers instead decided to make him look like a Nordic version of Yosemite Sam. This costume certainly had plenty of potential, but look at this goofball:

Tiny arms, big head, huge beard, no body. Weird stuff, all around.

Blogs For The Masked Singer

The Viking did beat Mel B's Seahorse back in the second episode with his aforementioned version of 'Songbird,' but his second song was enough to put him at risk. The Viking didn't exactly nail Harry Styles' 'Watermelon Sugar,' but he did ultimately get the better of the Clock in the ensuing sing-off.

His reign was short-lived, though, as he was one of two contestants to be cut in the sixth episode. Despite his best efforts on Coldplay's 'The Scientist,' we later found out that the Viking was portrayed by Norway native Morten Harket.

Blob (Lenny Henry)

The Blob was the second contestant to be shown the door in the sixth episode of the second season. The Blob, a rather terrifying mix of goo, eyes, and fur, did admittedly nail Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' in his first try of the season:

The Blob got the better of the Harlequin with that performance before advancing with Cameo's 'Word Up!' in the fourth episode of the campaign. Blob advanced once again after slaying Pitbull's 'Hotel Room Service' in the very next episode, but he was canned alongside the Viking after singing Robert Palmer's 'Addicted to Love' in episode six.

We found out that night that the Blob was actually Sir Lenny Henry, a legendary stand-up comedian, actor, singer, and just about anything else under the sun. You had a good run, Sir Lenny.

Harlequin (Gabrielle)

The Harlequin was put on notice after faltering against the Blob in the first round, but she improved her performances quite a bit after that initial setback. The Harlequin advanced through episodes four, five, and six after a string of solid performances, including a stirring rendition of Harry Styles' 'Falling:'

We found out after that performance that Gabrielle was the one behind the Harlequin mask. Making it all the way to the seventh episode is no small feat, especially after coming close to elimination way back in the season premiere.

Dragon (Sue Perkins)

The Dragon got past the Swan back in episode one after a nice rendition of Randy Newman's 'You've Got a Friend in Me:'

This is a delightful costume. There was really no way they could vote her off, especially after singing that song. Imagine looking into those eyes and voting against the Dragon after that. Nobody could possibly be that heartless.

The Dragon skirted through a few more episodes before her run came crashing to an end in the seventh episode. Is bovada legit. We discovered following her performance of Adele's 'Make You Feel My Love' that comedian Sue Perkins was behind the Dragon mask all along.
